How To Repair A Mazda Cx 5 Middle Console Latch

The latch on my eye panel broke

Hey anybody!

The latch on my center panel broke and I wanted to meet if anyone had whatsoever suggestions. It wouldn't be a huge deal, just since the hat is weighted, it is ever open up.

Has anyone stock-still this result themselves or should I only have information technology to Mazda?

My dealership replaced it for costless, information technology's a known weak point. Doesn't hurt to call and inquire.

When I test drove my used 2022, the middle console was lifting, and they said they would fix it earlier I picked it upward. They removed the spring in the back so it wouldn't lift up.

If in a bustle y'all tin get tie ropes with hooks, a small-scale one, utilize the safe belt latches on either side to hook information technology and slide it on meridian of the console. Worked fine for me until ny cx5 was due for its adjacent service and got it fixed for good then.

Happened to me. Luckily I constitute the broken piece, so I simply used some epoxy. Been fine for over a year since.

Aforementioned here on 2022 Cx5. Used glutinous Velcro to concur information technology down, just the replacement part for $seven from amazon seems like the better mode to go.
